      A college senior from Far Rockaway was arrested last week and charged with forging $40,000 worth of student loan applications, court records show. Henry Wallace, 28, was arrested inside 146 Beach 24 Street last Thursday after more than a year of defrauding banks by forging signatures on the applications and receiving the loans for his own financial gain.

Second Arrest In September Mugging
Victim Thought He Would Be Shot
      A second Rockaway teen wanted for a September mugging and assault was arrested last week near his Arverne home after he eluded police for nearly two months. The accused, Kevin Byrd, 18, allegedly committed the September 10 mugging and robbery of a 28-yearold man on Beach 56 Street and Larkin Avenue shortly after midnight, according to police.
