Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer announces proclamations for the three honorees at this past weekend's "Oktoberfest" breakfast event to support the 100 Precinct Community Council. The 100 Precinct Community Council's 17th annual "Oktoberfest" was held this week at the Rockaway Beach Knights of Columbus Hall, located on Beach 90 Street, and celebrated the community service of several longtime Rockaway residents.

Among those honored were Kenny Good, proprietor of The Lobster House, Andy and Maureen McGee, and Benjamin and Mary Lenihan.

This year's "Oktoberfest" breakfast, the annual fundraiser benefiting the 100 Precinct Community Council, nearly doubled in size from last year, which is a testament to the growing support for participation in the council's community activities and initiatives.

The 200 guests enjoyed food, a guest appearance by Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer, who presented proclamations to the honorees, and an abundance of donated gifts that were raffled off in support of the council's fundraising effort.
