Promises Do Not Fulfill Dreams

Dear Editor, Well I am going to make a comment. Pastor Evans, like I said, was only there for a while. I have been there in the beginning until the end. Pastor Evans is the one who has stopped the meeting and getting the signatures that we had started. Where has he been? You talked about Pastor being here and being there, but what has he really done? What life is he speaking into the Rockaways? Because I have not heard a word since he stopped the meetings. When is the last time he got with the young, Hernandez, Bilbro, Bethea, Bundle and the rest of the family? Yes I know it takes a village to raise a child but you or Pastor Evans are not a part of the Rockaway village and the both of you are not there so don't you dare try to act like Pastor Evans does so much and you don't do anything yourself. I know for myself I believe in action and so far no action has been taken. So I am asking again: where are the signatures and what is Pastor Evans doing with them instead of letting them collect dust: second, what is Pastor Evans trying to do for the Rockaways? When Pastor Evans isreally ready to give action and see progress I will be right there also. I'm not saying he is not there, but in order to organize and keep the families interested in trying to do something or help do something in the Rockaways he needs to step up more with the families and just don't disappear without a word and discontinue what he had started. My mother and I have made several calls to the funeral home and his cell phone to find out and we got no response or call back. So don't try to act like Pastor Evans had done so much and you can't get a return phone call back.
