Engelbert Humperdinck first hit the American pop charts with his number one song "Release Me (And Let Me Love Again)" and has not stopped generating hits since then. For 40 years, Humperdinck has proven his versatility by cranking out hits in genres that range from disco to rock to gospel, as well as his classic romantic ballads. He has sold over 150 million records worldwide, including 64 gold and 24 platinum albums. Humperdinck has had a number of hit singles including "Am I That Easy To Forget," "When There's No You," "After the Lovin'" and "This Moment In Time."
Humperdinck has performed for Her Majesty the Queen, several Presidents and many heads of state. In 1978 he received a "Georgie Award" from the American Guild of Variety Artists recognizing him as "Entertainer of the Year."
