Advanced Placement Honors At St. Savior HS

Photo St. Savior Honor Class Photo St. Savior Honor Class St. Savior High School recently received notification that the scores earned by students in the May Advanced Placement examinations soared above the global average in English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, American History, European History, Latin, and Psychology. In Calculus and Chemistry most students also earned qualifying scores of 3, 4, or 5 allowing them to receive college credits for their efforts.

The College Board also confirms that eleven students, ten of them graduates of 2008, have been nominated AP Scholars for their outstanding scores on Advanced Placement exams taken during their junior and senior years at the high school.

Clare Kearney of Breezy Point, Julia Morris and Christine Sisto qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award; Caitlin Byrnes, Jessica Chin, Erica Fredrickson and Amanda Magnavita received the AP Scholar with Honor Award; Jenee Benjamin, Laura Dineen, Diana Hung and Hannah Rawnsley were designated AP Scholars.
