Fall For Kids

Fall is a fantastic time to visit the refuge as animals prepare for winter, trees shed their brilliant leaves, and the weather is as crisp as a quick gust of wind.

Children, ages 4 and up, can create their own piece of autumn with a parent and then go for a brief nature walk with a Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge park ranger on Sunday, October 19 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The program is free but advance registration is requested.

For more information, call the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge at 718-318-4340.
