The West End Temple started its Saturday Safe Haven program for tweens last weekend at the synagogue building at 147-02 Newport Avenue in Neponsit. More than children from grades 3 to 8 attended the first safe haven program, which is run one Saturday night each month during the school year. Pictured, boys play ping-pong.
