The house at 424 Beach 135 Street, where the house party took place. An argument at the party sparked the assault on the street, police say. Sources told The Wave that Robert O'Malley, 17, of 492 Marlborough Road in Brooklyn, was attending a house party at Bottle Bump

424 Beach 135 Street on September 13, when an argument broke out between O'Malley and another teen at the party shortly after 11 p.m.

The argument moved outside the Beach 135 Street home, court sources say, with O'Malley facing off against the unnamed teen.

Police sources say that a number of the teens at the party became involved in the argument, and that there was some pushing and shoving on the street in front of the home.

Those court documents, provided by Queens District Attorney Richard Brown, say that local teen Sean McGoonty tried to stop the fight just as O'Malley swung a beer bottle in anger, striking McGoonty on the head, causing a laceration, bleeding, and swelling that later required ten stitches at Peninsula Hospital Center.

Police responding to a call from neighbors broke up the fight and took O'Malley into custody for the assault and allegedly found two packets of marijuana in his wallet.

O'Malley was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court on September 17, charged with assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court on October 28.
