9/11 Memorial Day Ends With Sunset, Taps, Silence

September 11 was memorialized in two ceremonies at Tribute Park on Beach 116 Street and Beach Channel Drive last Thursday. The final ceremony took place at sundown, with the lowering of the American flag and the playing of Taps.
