BCAC Shamrock Peanuts Battle It Out With Bethpage

In the first night game of the year, the BCAC Shamrock Green Peanuts took on the very tough Bethpage Eagles. The Shamrocks defense was absolutely amazing in giving up only one score the whole game.

The Eagles had a hard time all game getting a first down against the Shamrock's "Green Wall" defense led by Sebastion Frieberg, Joey Iannello, Kevin Koestner, along with newcomers James Mangan and Anthony Ingenito.

Defensive coordinator Kenny Jackowski left a wedding early just to make it to the game by the second half. His appearance made an impact by firing up the Shamrocks in their battle against Bethpage.

The BCAC offense slugged it out all day against the Eagles powerful defense. Veterans Michael O'Connell, Luke Jackowski and Nick Galimi were solid as usual in the offensive attack. Rookie Nathaniel Pagan, also shined by coming up with some key blocks.

The play of the game was RB Mike Sirota's spin move that people will be talking about for years. Mike Sadowski created a late night spark with 30 yards rushing on the final drive of the game that ended just short of a game tying touch down.

The next game for the Shamrocks will take place on Sunday, September 28 at Bayville starting at 9:30 a.m. That should give Coach Michael Sirota plenty of time to stock up on Propel.
