Par Tee Golf Holds Closing Luncheon
After the wonderful luncheon at "Russo's on the Bay", we all need to diet!! The food was delicious, the service perfect, the liquid refreshment flowing and the ambiance was beautiful! Not only did Bea Sharrock organize and run the entire event, but she showed her creative ability in the centerpieces. And we are grateful to Don for cutting out all the pieces. A perfect day was achieved by Bea! Congratulations on her fourth year as chairlady and always doing a superior job.
The duo of Helen Mahon and Mary McDermott had us laughing and enjoying the entertainment part of the party. They were wonderful and deserve a lot of credit for their singing and dancing abilities!!
We were honored to have as our guest, Anthony Esposito, the Director of Golf at the Brooklyn Golf Center on Flatbush Avenue. Anthony not only gave us a shotgun start but did everything he could to make golfing a wonderful experience. Thank you, Anthony, for your golfing expertise and for being such a nice guy!!!
The ParTee sends condolences to Peggy Wheeler on the death of her son, Robert. May he rest in peace.

It was a great year thanks to our copresidents Alice Mateos and Sheila Schaberick. Their tireless effort, leadership, work, and dedication are very much appreciated. And many thanks Lord for inspiring them to do it again!
A minister was completing a temperance sermon. With great emphasis he said, "If I had all the beer in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river."
With even greater emphasis he said, "And if I had all the wine in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river." And then finally, shaking his fist in the air, he said, "And if I had all the whiskey in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river."
With the sermon complete, he sat down. The song leader stood very cautiously and announced with a smile, nearly laughing.… "For our closing song, let us sing, Hymn #365, shall we gather at the river?" Have a great year everyone and SEE YOU AT THE RIVER!!!!
