Dear Editor, I believe the time has come for Mayor Michael Bloomberg to clearly, truthfully and directly let the people of New York City know whether he supports term limit extensions. If in fact he intends to support a measure, the Mayor should state whether he plans to place it before voters or would instead sign legislation to allow it to move forward. More ... This letter was directed to Commissioner Benepe of the Department of Parks and Recreation. Dear Editor, As a resident of Rockaway Park I have given considerable thought to the ongoing problem of beach garbage. More ... Marked bicycle lanes substantially improve cyclist safety. The bicycle lane on Shore Parkway provides adequate cyclist safety and does not seem to cause any traffic problems. More ... |
