Bomb Squad Responds to Suspicious Package
 The Bomb Squad and the NYPD Emergency Service Unit responded to a call near the fire station at Beach 49 Street last Friday after a suspicious black suitcase was reported on the corner of Beach 49 Street and Rockaway Beach Boulevard. Police closed off Beach 48 to Beach 50 Street while authorities evaluated the situation and found the suitcase to be empty and threat free. |
