Fidelina Rivera, a Rockaway resident for more than 30 years, died August 28.

Rivera, a homemaker, was born in Puerto Rico.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert.

Rivera is survived by her sons, James, Richie, Manuel and Rene; daughters, Betsy, Jenny, Carmen, Margarita and Mildred; brother, Domingo; sisters, Inez and Geno; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home, with visitation to be held on Tuesday, September 2 and Wednesday, September 3, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 4 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church. All other arrangements were kept private.
