Kearney's Latin Students Do It Again

This past spring, all of Bishop Kearney's Latin students participated in the National Latin Exam. Forty students received awards for outstanding performance. Freshman Deirdre Haynes of Belle Harbor (pictured third from left in the front row) attained a perfect score. Seven students received gold "summa cum laude" certificates and medals; nine received silver "maxima cum laude" certificates; ten received "magna cum laude" certificates; and 14 received "cum laude" certificates. The students were assisted by Kearney's Latin teacher, William Biondolino.
