Hats Off ' To PHC Auxiliary

Peninsula Hospital Auxiliary held its annual raffle drawing and fundraising celebratory luncheon on August 5, with a "Crazy Hat" party. Due to the overwhelming success of this year's fundraising activities, the Auxiliary was able to donate more than $15,000 to the Hospice Center this year by holding two simultaneous raffles. The donation has been earmarked for the Eisenstadt Hospice Center at Peninsula. Pictured (l-r) are Auxilians Ann Marie McNerney, Sally Imperato, Joan Coogan and Auxiliary President Sheila Schwartz.
Auxilians Gert Oltchick and Florence Epstein (front and center) enjoyed the many "Crazy Hat" Day festivities. Oltchick was the Auxiliary's number one fundraiser this year and was the motivating force behind the organization's second raffle, after the first sold out so quickly. Also pictured in the background are Auxiliary officers Mary Ogonah and Joan Ryan.
