Obama, The Candidate

Dear Editor,

It is absolutely insane; the American people are getting ready to hire a new president that doubles as Commander in-Chief of the armed forces. Where are the criteria of who can and who cannot be considered for such a high position? The common practice of filling a vacant position in private establishments or filling a vacancy at a government agency is to submit a resume listing the previous jobs, positions and accomplishments. Hiring a contractor, it is prudent to see the work done by the contractor on previous jobs. Hiring a housekeeper, most job offerings, in addition to a resume, require references to prove one's diligent and honest and other signs of being worthy of trust.

Barack Hussein Obama materialized on the national scene as an unknown one term Senator from Illinois. He has no resume, has accomplished nothing worthy of mentioning. One cannot deny the illustrious reference from "illustrious personalities" including his Pastor Jeremiah Wright, a bigoted clown with a big mouth that spews racial hate and anti American lies. Senator Obama, who was a member of this church for 20 years, told us that he never heard the ugly diatribe coming from his Pastor; does he really believe that we the people are stupid to believe that?

I understand that the anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan also supports Obama's presidential quest for the White House. As for Farrakhan, books can be written with little substance and a lot of hate, I will not dignify this character writing about him. Among Senator Obama's references for the job he seeks one can find Iraqis, Germans, Syrians and a host of other despots that hate us, including the terrorist Hamas that loves him, too. One of his supporting pillars in this election is a woman that never was proud of the United States, yet she too is promoting Obama for president of our beloved country.

Aside for having a gift of gab Obama has nothing to offer that will improve our way of life and with a background like his there is just no way Obama will get my vote.
