PBQS Auxiliary Mobilize In Far Rockaway

Auxiliary Members of the Service (MOS) assigned to Patrol Borough Queens South (PBQS) participated in a Crime Reduction Initiative on Friday, July 25. In an effort to raise public awareness and combat current crime trends, Auxiliary MOS from PBQS Commands, and Auxiliary Highway Patrol, responded to the 101 Precinct, where officers were assigned to a targeted area covering the Redfern Houses and Bayswater/Mott Avenue areas. Officer patrolled on foot as well as in marked patrol cars and engaged members of the public by distributing over 2,000 Crime Prevention and Gun Stop Flyer to members of the community.

Thirty-two auxiliary Officers participated in the mobilization. The mobilization was organized under the direction of Assistant Chief Thomas V. Dale, Commanding Officer PBQS.
