Use Adult Words

Dear Editor,

Yes, I do read Stu's columns. I am hopeful that whatever party wins the presidential election, we lose the innocuous "flip-flopping" and "in harm's way."

These infantile expressions have served only to underscore what has been a remarkably lackluster and often horrendous administration. Americans must lose these teeny-bopper allusions. Alternatives?… Our countrymen have been: in danger, in peril and faced death. And, an evaluation of facts can and should alter conclusions: A

change of heart, a

change of mind and/ or plans, can be a very good thing for all. The common good was and always should be the American goal.

Use grown-up words, so that meaning is clear and decisive action can follow, and America can take a positive step towards regenerating our once world-class power.
