Low 60's Scores Highlights Par Tee Golf News

The Hole-in One winner was Pat Livingstone. The Hole-in One winner was Pat Livingstone. Every time a golfer makes a birdie, he must subsequently make two triple bogeys to restore the fundamental equilibrium of the universe.

The low score for the golf action on July 10 is credited to Peg Ansbro with a 63. Also in the sixties were Marilyn Danese (66), Doris Neimeth (67), Marie Campbell and MaryEllen Hogan had 68.

In the seventies: Meg Feerick and Eileen Watson (70), Alice Mateos, Nancy Heffernan , Nancy Tutolo and Helen Graham (71), Pat Barry (72), Joan McNally (74), Arlene Crane and Pat Livingstone (75). Barbara Caramelli (76), and the trio of Margaret Dalton, Lorraine Pierson and Evie McVeigh (77), and Pat Kelly and Betty Weed scored 78.

Congratulations to Mary Ellen Hogan who scored three birdies!! Joan McNally had two birdies and Helen Graham had two chip-in birdies and Peg Feerick had a chip-in and a birdie. Other birdie winners were: Nancy Tutolo, Marilyn Danese, Marie Heffernan and Peg Ansbro. Joan Williams and Pat Livingstone had chip-ins.

Chip-in birdies are credited to Trish Fitzpatrick, Alice Mateos and Pat Barry. Closest to the pin on #9 was Joan Fallon and on #10 the winner was MaryEllen Hogan. Jo Sullivan won the 50/50.

The Par Tee Ladies would like to welcome two new members: Patricia Fitzpatrick and Margaret Dalton. Trish had a great start with a chip-in birdie on # 15 and Margaret scored in the seventies.

The Guys and Dolls Tournament is sold out!!! However, lunch is still available at $12.50 per person. Coffee and donuts will be served at 7 a.m. and shotgun start commences at 7:45. After the tournament, the Catholic Club will be open for socialization and libations. Lunch will be served at noon.
