Auxiliaries Aid In Wounded Warrior Parade

The Police Department Auxiliaries assisted greatly in the Wounded Warriors parade, starting on Thursday, June 10 and continuing through Sunday, June 13. They were omnipresent, assisting with traffic control, by being omnipresent as well as aiding with the transportation of disabled veterans. The majority of the Auxiliaries were from PBQS Commands, as well as Auxiliary Highway and Auxiliary Task Force.

In addition, these volunteers helped out with the Breezy Decathalon on Saturday morning, June 12. They performed in excess of 330 hours of service for the duration of the event.

All the Auxiliaries were honored for donating their time. The assistance was arranged and organized by Assistant Chief Thomas V. Dale (PBQS Commanding Officer), Inspector Michael Morely (PBQS Adjutant) and Deputy Inspector Angelo Maroulis (Commanding Officer Auxiliary Police Section.)
