RDRC Awarded $30,000 For Job Readiness Services

In support of their ongoing efforts to provide job readiness and placement services to primarily low and moderate income level persons, Assemblywoman Michele Titus awarded Rockaway Development and Revitalization Corp. (RDRC) a $30,000 legislative grant.

The RDRC Job Readiness Course is an intensive three week class that provides customer service skills training, computer instruction, resume writing, financial literacy and employment placement services. "Assemblywoman Titus has been a major supporter of RDRC's programs and services dating back to her very first term in office," said Linda Plummer, RDRC's board president. "We are grateful for the time that Assemblywoman Titus dedicates to participate in various RDRC special events and functions."
