Rockaway Republicans To Host Top McCain Strategist

Tom Lynch, President of Rockaway Republicans, announced that Grant Lally will head the Republican Club's June 30 meeting, to be held at Breezy Point's Bayhouse at 8 p.m. Lally is Vice- Chair for the McCain '08 Election Committee for New York State, and also responsible for the northeast region.

"We understand how enormously busy Grant is these days," reports Lynch "We're especially honored that he accepted Jerry Sullivan's invite to join us. Grant is intimately involved with the election committee; but most importantly, with John McCain himself, so we are looking forward to a personal and human perspective on the person we expect to be the nation's 44th President." Sullivan, in his "It's Time for Change" campaign, seeks to be a new and bolder voice for reform in the New York State Assembly for the people in the 23rd Assembly District.

"Rockaway is a growing and dynamic section of the borough of Queens," said Lally. "Rockaway is not only home to many proud Republicans but also great numbers of Centrists and Independents, many of whom supported Ronald Reagan in the 80's and Rudy Giuliani in the 90's. I'm very much looking forward to meeting [and] discussing John McCain, responding to questions, interest, [and] concerns" Lally is a partner with Lally & Lally LLP, active with the Red Cross, Irish Lawyers Association, Holocaust Memorial Commission, Irish GOP, Long Island Federalist Society (Chair); and, in his career, led fact-finding tours to Bosnia and Tiannamen.
