Della Blocker, a Rockaway resident, died June 13.

Blocker was born in Williston, South Carolina on April 9, 1917.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hassie and Wallace Johnson; brother, Isadore Blocker Sr.; and sister in-law, Alberta Blocker.

She is survived by her nephews, Isadore Jr. (Dorinda) and Tyrone; nieces, Hattie Wright, Betty Collins, Rosetta Blocker, Vivian Carter, Gwen Wimms, Kenneth and Bradley Jones, Gail (Wilbert) Jenkins; and many other family members and friends.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lawrence Funeral Chapel. Interment was at Green Field Cemetery in Hempstead, New York.
