William Atkinson, a lifelong Rockaway resident, died June 16. Atkinson, a construction laborer, was born in Far Rockaway. He is survived by his grandmother, Alice Atkinson; uncle, Edward Kurose; and sister, Della Ross. Funeral arrangements and visitation were entrusted to the Denis S. O'Connor Funeral Home.
