Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer was pleased to host the winners of the Program for the Development of Human Potential Bookmark (PDHP) contest in Albany. The Queens South Cluster schools conducted a bookmark contest under PDHP's Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services' "Underage Drinking-Not A Minor Problem" program. Peer Counselors from Christ the King HS and The Mary Louis Academy took part in judging the contest entries.

The individual school winners were invited by Pheffer to Albany for official recognition in the NYS Assembly Chamber and their accomplishment became a part of the NYS archives. The winners toured the State Capitol and were treated with a lunch with Pheffer. Winners were chosen from each school and an overall winner for the Queens South Cluster was awarded the privilege of having their artwork and bookmark reproduced and distributed to students in all the schools. Winners were Vincent Zecca, 6th grade, Our Lady of Grace; Nobert Piotrowski, 6th grade, St. Rose of Lima; Lorianna D'Allesandro, 6th grade, St. Francis de Sales; Rachel Rothstein, 7th grade, St. Camillus; Manpreet Kaur, 7th grade, St. Mary Star of the Sea; and Arianna Romeo, St. Helens. Lorianna D'Allesandro's was the overall winner and her artwork will be used for the official PDHP bookmark.
