The fishing tournament will take place on the bayside of Beach 38 Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fee is $15, which will include refreshments. Prizes will be awarded to those who finish in first, second or third place.

The Bay Rats Fishing Club is a non-profit organization whose intent is also to clean up the strip on Beach 38 Street and Norton Avenue for fishing use. There will also be a barbeque ongoing throughout the day. Sponsors include Soul 4 Real and Styles.

Anyone who doesn't fish is still invited to donate their time to helping out for a cause that would allow children and adults to fish.
