Literary Arts Festival

The Rockaway Music and Arts Council held its second annual Literary Arts and Film Festival at Fort Tilden last weekend, June 7 and 8. On tap were readings, book signings, panels on many literary topics, student writing awards and short films by local filmmakers. Pictured, the Fort Tilden venue for the festival, which drew hundreds to the park during the hot weekend.
