Saint Saviour High School Seniors Awarded

Rosemary Burke of Breezy Point has been chosen to receive the Alumnae Association Senior Award. Burke has received the Math Certificate of Achievement Award and the National Latin Award, Cum Laude. She also received scholarship offers from St. Joseph's College, Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island, and CUNY. She will attend John Carroll University in the fall, as a math major. Burke is the daughter of Margaret and John Burke, granddaughter of Jay and Alice Burke and Tom and Rosemary Ahern, all of Breezy Point. •••••••••• Clare Kearney of Breezy Point, valedictorian, has been awarded the Sandra Storman Memorial Award for Math, the Presidential Award for General Excellence, St. John's University Award for Women in Science, and the University of Rochester's "Young Leader Award." In addition, Kearney has been offered acceptances, scholarships and awards from Johns Hopkins University, Cooper Union School of Engineering, University of Buffalo, Stevens Institute of Technology, University of Delaware, Manhattan College, NY District Council of Carpenters, ACE Mentor Program Award, and NYS Department of Education. She will attend Brown University in the fall, as an engineering major. Kearney is the daughter of Timothy and Christine and the sister of Allison.
