Dedication For Memory Of 9/11 Victim
The area on the corner of 79 Street and 4 Avenue in Brooklyn was dedicated recently to the memory of Patrick Sullivan, who died in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The event, which was held Saturday, June 7, included Sullivan's parents, Mary and Patrick Sullivan of Breezy Point. The parents stood alongside former Brooklyn Borough President, Marty Golden. Their friend and neighbor, Jim O'Dea, sang "God Bless America." Patrick's brother, Gerard, who is currently running for public office in the Rockaways, was instrumental in getting the dedication accomplished.
