Seeking Paid Elections Inspectors and Clerks

As the 2008 elections are drawing near, the New York City Board of Elections is seeking Inspectors and Clerks. All registered voters who currently reside in Part "A" of the 23 Assembly District are eligible to apply.

The job involves a one-day commitment from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a daily salary of $200.00. All interested are invited to the Harry S. Truman Democratic Club, at 20-12 Seagirt Blvd, Far Rockaway, on Sunday, June 1 2008, beginning at 3:00 p.m., and are instructed to look for a blue banner.

Democratic District Leader Audrey Pheffer personally calls all intrigued to attend, stating that "working as an election inspector is a great way to, in one day, meet people, earn extra cash and fulfill a civic duty."
