Local Super Busted For Sexual Abuse
ARockaway man, who reportedly serves as the super for the apartment building in which he lives, has been arrested for sexually abusing three young girls over the past two months, court records show.
The man, identified by police as Carlos Flores, 51, of 133 Beach 120 Street, has been charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child, according to charging papers supplied by Queens District Attorney Richard Brown.
Flores allegedly sexually abused three girls, two of whom were under the age of 14 and another under the age of 17, in violation of state law. All three assaults, which allegedly took place in his apartment between March 24 and May 4, included Flores touching the young girls and attempting to fondle them.
In her sworn deposition, Police Officer Josephine Emeli of the 100 Precinct, said that all three victims, whose names are being withheld because of their age and the nature of the crime, told her that Flores "rubbed the outside of her upper thigh and continued to rub her inner thigh." The deposition added that Flores allegedly "placed his hand on her shoulder and moved his hand down towards her breast, until she moved away."
Court papers supplied by Queens DA Brown say that Flores was arraigned on three counts of sexual abuse in the second degree, four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of sexual abuse in the third degree and four counts of harassment.
A spokesperson for Brown told The Wave that Flores faces several years in prison if convicted of the top counts in the indictment. He is due back in court on June 19 for a hearing.
