Traffic Light Need On Beach 84 And SFP
Good job, where it counts… How wonderful for Audrey Pheffer to assist a school on 104 Street with a new traffic light and receiving one, my, my, that was quick. I wonder what Saint Rose has to do in order for a light up by their school on Shore Front Parkway, oh wait, they tried everything.
If my calculations are correct, that would make from Beach 102 Street up to Beach 116 Street (let me take a minute to count because there are so many), um… five lights in less than one mile.
When residents of Beach 92 Street down to Beach 73 Street BEGGED for one traffic light (after a few speeding incidents and at
least one fatality),
we instead received a one lane speed-trap, was that some sort of punishment? Great job, Audrey… Oh and please let me continue to rant about traffic lights.
How is it that Arverne by the Sea, which seems to be a town unto itself, was able to receive three traffic lights, one of which has a turn signal on it? And will there ever be a completed Rockaway Beach Boulevard down there?
But, I digress. Inquiring minds would like to know, what does it take to get a traffic light on Beach 84 Street and Shore Front Parkway?
