James Clark, a 21-year Rockaway resident, died May 20. He was 64. Clark was born in Rockaway Beach on March 22, 1944. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church. He is survived by his brother, John; sisters, Sheila Clark and Jacqueline (Phil) Shannon; and numerous nieces and nephews. More ... Paul DeFiore, a longtime Rockaway resident, died May 18. He was 79. Barbara Gardner, a Rockaway resident, died May 9. She was 57. Gardner was born in Wilbur, North Carolina on January 26, 1951. She was the founder of God's Anointed House of Prayer and Deliverance. She was preceded in death her parents, Patrick and Catherine Gildea; and sister, Margaret Walther. Gildea is survived by her brother, James; and sister, Mary Gildea-Williamson. More ... Williams was born in Jamaica, West Indies on April 3, 1956. She worked at Agata Valentino restaurant in Manhattan for six years.
