Expanding Nutritional Services At SJEH

Members of the Food and Nutrition Department at St. John's Hospital Members of the Food and Nutrition Department at St. John's Hospital St. John's Episcopal Hospital's Food and Nutrition Department is making advances for patients and visitors at the facility. The new food service initiative includes plans to refresh patient and resident menu options; offer healthy snacks, organic and vegan meals; maternity meals and congratulatory meal for new parents; and microwavable meals for after hour patients. Lona Marecheau, Director of the Food and Nutrition Department, leads a team of more than 60 unionized dietary workers, cooks and cashiers that provide nutritional services to patients, residents, employees and visitors.
