Dear Editor,

Last week a 23-year-old man attempted suicide. He was rescued by the NYPD from the 101 Precinct and FDNY. These servants of the community seem to receive the worst reputation, but no one understands how hard they work. So I am writing to officially thank these community servants for their outstanding desire to help others.
