Congregation Derech Emunoh celebrated Purim this year in its temporary synagogue located in a double-wide trailer in the Arverne By The Sea development. Food was one of the main amenities of the afternoon, including some delicious traditional Hamantaschen, a pastry which, in Yiddish, means "Haman's pockets."
