The Boardwalk Needs Lights
Dear Editor, The street lamps on the boardwalk from Beach 122 Street to Beach 126 Street have been out since February 14. I called 311 on Friday, February 15 to complain, and I was told it was the Parks department's problem and it would take 10 to 15 days for someone to come out and investigate.

Make Far Rockaway High School A Vocational School
Dear Editor, The students that attended Far Rockaway High School proved they didn't want an academic education. Why not turn the school into a variety of vocational courses? Test The Memories
Dear Editor, This letter was sent in response to the historic "map" of the Far Rockaway shopping area, circa 1950's, that ran in last week's paper. To fill in the blanks in the February 29 Wave really tests the memories of us old timers (no apostrophe). Let's start on Mott Avenue (north side).

Bloomberg's Proposed Congestion Pricing Plan
Dear Editor, This is why the proposed congestion pricing plan needs a second opinion - yours: 1. Its dividing instead of uniting the city is grand folly. 2. City activists have tried for years to eliminate barriers to free concourse, pointing to intra-city tolls as hindrances to mobility and open trade.

Response to Beachcomber
Dear Editor, In Beachcomber, you quoted Dominick Maiorano, I don't know who he is… but he is 100 percent wrong. On March 30, 2006 one of my last commissions as broker of West End Realty was the sale of Joseph and Barbara Friedman's home at 139 Beach 149 Street. The last time I looked Beach 147 Street is in Rockaway… it sold for 3.
