Sorrentino Recreational Center Honor Little League Players

The New York Yankees were all smiles last summer after they defeated the Mets at O'Donahue Park to capture the Bantam Division crown in the Sorrentino Recreational Center/ Health Plus/Police Athletic League 2007 Little League championship. The New York Yankees were all smiles last summer after they defeated the Mets at O'Donahue Park to capture the Bantam Division crown in the Sorrentino Recreational Center/ Health Plus/Police Athletic League 2007 Little League championship. The Sorrentino Recreational Center has announced that they will be honoring the 2007 Health Plus/PAL/Parks and Recreation Queens Little League baseball champions and runnerups on April 12.

The Sorrentino Recreational Center will also hold on that day a free baseball clinic for boys and girls from the ages of 8 to 12. Boys from the ages of 13 to 15 can also participate.

Registration for the 2008 Little League Baseball season will begin on April 12. Sign-ups will include the 12 and under co-ed division and 13 to 15 years old boys division.
