Public School/Middle School 43 Students Explore Various Activities
Mrs. Ellis' art club took Manhattan by storm on a balmy 68 degree day. They visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art. After studying medieval art in their art history class, Mrs. Ellis' eighth grade students created a life size shield, which bears their initials. Sixth grade students visited the Temple of Dendur at the Metropolitan Museum of Art this month. The PS/MS 43 Recorder Club, made up of fourth grade students, recently performed at the school's holiday assembly. The club is preparing for their performance at the school wide Black History Month celebration. Rodolpho Chanona, a fourthgrade student in Ms. Di Lorenzo's art, music and dance class, created this portrait of Martin Luther King Jr. as part of their Black History Month celebration.
