Making their way to Rincon, Puerto Rico, via the West Indies - the journey may have been long but the destination held a beautiful wedding.

Many guest lodged at the Rincon of the Seas Grand Caribbean Hotel. The hotel is a u-shape building that allows vast ocean views for most lodgers. The palm trees sway hypnotically between accommodation and surf.

On January 19, at 4:30 p.m. the wedding party made their way to the beach. The wedding procession included Eileen, Bernadette and Theresa McConnon, Reenie, Shannon, Corinne, Michelle, Suzie, Jimmy (the couple's son), Swanny, Dano, Brian, Richie, Pete, Gambino and Rokee. Joe Joe (the pair's young son) was the ring barrier and Taylor and Alana were flower girls. Beth-Ann descended down the aisle wearing an Alana Meli original wedding gown, escorted by her brother Kevie Kev. With a smile and a twinkle in her eye, she took the hand of the groom-to-be, whose vows were inspired by Errol Flynn's "The Adventures of Robin Hood." On cue, his merry men raised their glasses and bellowed "Lady Beth-Ann!"

The groom's sister echoed the idea of Mr. Raaf, "It was the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended. Lady Beth-Ann was a most beautiful bride. Kevin outdid himself."

"What we experienced was a 'pilgrimage of 150 people with Rockaway roots' ranging from 7 to 70 years of age, together with the same goal - to take part in the celebration," said Tom Garry. "If asked to sum up the Brown wedding experience in one word, it could only be priceless!"

Later in the evening, a surf inspired cake was rolled out in honor of Jim, the couple's son, 18th birthday. Just as he blew out the candles, a professional firework show was displayed.
