Three-Car Accident Leads To Dust-Up With Cops

Three cars came together at Beach Channel Drive and Beach 140 Street at 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, creating a tie up and a dispute that led police to force one of the drivers from her automobile. Eyewitnesses say that the unidentified female driver of a dark-colored sedan slammed into the rear of another automobile waiting for the traffic light to turn green on the westbound lane of the four-lane road. The third car, a jeep, then slammed into the rear end of the second car. While there were no apparent injuries involved in the accident, the driver of the car that reportedly started the event refused to get out of her automobile to speak with police and had to be persuaded after a long argument.
