The program, which will be held at 147-02 Newport Avenue, will take place Saturday, January 19, February 9, March 8, April 12, May 10, and June 14. Third-, fourth- and fifthgrade students can attend between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and sixth-, seventh and eight-grade students between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. This program also gives high school students the opportunity to earn service credit.

The supervised drop-off program offers the opportunity for children to meet and socialize with fellow tweens. The Saturday Safe Haven is a secular program open to children of all religions. Temple membership is not required to attend. The cost, which includes snacks and beverages, is $15 per child, with a discount for temple members and early registrants. For information or to request a Saturday Safe Haven application, contact the temple office at 718-634-0301.
