Peninsula PreparatoryAcademy's 'Winter Wonderland'Fundraiser

Students at Peninsula Preparatory Academy Charter School (PPA) participated in a school-wide fundraiser called "Winter Wonderland." They sold snowflakes to raise money for families during the holiday season. Each snowflake was sold for $1 and was hung in the main hallway, creating a winter wonderland.

On December 17, 12 families were selected to receive a basket filled with goods. Some baskets contained toys, board games, books, Italian bread, assorted cereal, and soup. Other baskets were filled with fresh fruit and cookies for the holidays. PPA staff volunteered time after school to assemble the baskets.
