Mary Palmietto
Proprietor of Baskin Robbins

Mary Palmietto, a 35-year Rockaway resident, died December 12. She was 74.

Palmietto was born in North Tarrytown, New York on January 19, 1933. She was the proprietor of Baskin Robbins on Beach 116 Street. She worked with the company for 30 years before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Palmietto; and parents, John and Bridie.

She is survived by her son, Gary Palmietto; daughters, Marcella Powers and Nadine Andrews; grandchildren, James and Danny Powers, Brian and Elyse Boyle, Eddie and Bobby Andrews, and Melanie and Frank Palmietto.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Dwyer Funeral Home in Tarrytown, New York. A funeral mass was held at St. Teresa of Avila Church in Sleepy Hollow. Internment was at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, New York.
