Remembering Eisenstadt
Dear Editor,

After reading Beverly Baxter's column in The Wave and discovering that the Rockaway Theatre Company was dedicating their performance of "Our Town" to the memory of Barbara Eisenstadt, I attended the matinee on Sunday, December 9, with my husband Jim and my dear friend, B. Renda.

Congratulations to the entire cast of "Our Town." It's wonderful to have such a high quality of creative professionalism in our Rockaway Theatre Company.

The message of "Our Town" is profound - live and love each day as Eisenstadt exemplified with her family and community. Eisenstadt was a role-model for me as I observed her sharing her gifts and talents with the RMAC, RAA and our local schools. Her memory and spirit will be kept alive by community activists in Rockaway. Barbara Eisenstadt will be missed, but never forgotten.

MARY DEVER KELLY
