Afflic was born in the Bronx on December 26, 1951. He was employed as an electrician and maintenance worker. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Mae Barnes; father, Walter Afflic; stepmother, Cynthia Frazier; sisters, Sylvia Rice, Deborah, Cynthia, and Dorothy Afflic. Afflic is survived by his daughters, Chanell Brown, Jesserica Green; sisters, Carmen Afflic-Lovell, Yvonne, Fanny, Alibee, and Walkie Afflic; brother, Walter Jr.; brother-in-law, Kenneth Brown; relatives, Robert, James, Keena, Julius, and Altoney Brown; friends, Shirlene Green and Sherry Brown; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home. Visitation and services were held at Gaffney's Friendship Chapel. Interment was at Forrest Green Park Cemetery in Morganville, New Jersey.
