for larger version       Keep your Residential Property Private The New York State Department of State is in the process of updating its semiannual cease and desist lists for January of 2008. Property owners who want to be on the list must complete an owner's statement and return it to the Department of State no later than December 20, 2007. "This list is beneficial to those homeowners who don't want to deal with agents who are too pushy in their efforts to create new business," said Senator Smith. While December 20 is the filing deadline for January's list, filing will be accepted continuously for the next update, which will be published in July 2008.
