WCKC Takes The Grand Championship
At a recent Karate Tournament at York College in Jamaica, Queens, Justin Pine garnered the Grand Championship Kumite (sparring) Trophy.

Pine persevered through his lightweight division to take on and defeat the heavyweight winner. An assistant instructor at World Champions Karate Center, Pine is pictured to the right of the coveted 7- inch trophy. The competition teams also won trophies in their respective age/ rank group divisions.

The winners from left to right: Sensei Samer Hussein, Abdullah Megid, Gabriel Freyre, Allan Schlessingerman, Aidan Strongreen, Rhea Catwell, Tori Sutein, Justin Pine, Sensei Bruce Hodes, Madison Arrowood and Tiyanna Ceballos.
