for larger version       Moreen Elizabeth Chee-a-nam Childcare Provider Moreen Elizabeth Chee-a-nam, a longtime Rockaway resident, died November 25. She was 57. Chee-a-nam, a childcare provider, was born in Georgetown, Guyana. She is survived by her husband, Winston; daughters, Susan, Gale and Samantha; grandchildren, Christopher, Nicolas, Gregory and Julianna; mother, Carmen; sisters, Eileen, Norma and Pauline; brother, Dennis; sons-in-law, Edward, Ramon, and Jose; brothers-in-law, Fidelis, Vernon, Eric and Alfonso; sisters-in-law, Barbara, Veronica, Maureen and Olive; nieces and nephews, Shireen, Fazeena, Bibi, Selina, Sabrina, Zerina, Diana, Mark, Wayne, Amanda, Jenny, Marilyn, Nadira, Paul Sharmen, Lionel, Ronald, Fazial, Yvonne, Sharon, Alicea and Derek; friends and family.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jeremiah C. Gaffney's Funeral Home. Visitation and services were held at St. Gertrude Church. Interment was at Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens, New York.
